Confidentiality
When you submit your manuscript to a journal, or your grant proposal to a funding agency, reviewers are obligated to treat your data and ideas in strictest confidence. I promise to do likewise with your work entrusted to me for pre-editing or pre-review. If a manuscript or proposal that I have previously edited or reviewed for you is sent to me for formal reviewing by a journal or funding agency, I will decline it on grounds of conflict of interest.
